Garstang Community Academy’s latest Ofsted report has been published and the school is delighted with the outcome.

Principal, Alasdair Ashcroft feels that to continue to be judged as a good school at a time of local transition, and increased GCSE rigor, is an achievement that everyone associated with the school can be very proud of:

“The inspectors were very positive about the school from the start, complementing students, staff and all levels of school leadership throughout the day.  Ultimately, against a very rigorous Ofsted Framework, they found we had continued to build on the achievements we have already established and that the overall standard of our provision is very good. We are delighted that our visitors really understood what our fabulous school, with its inspirational staff and impeccably-behaved students, is all about.

We are now in a really good position, to continue our drive forwards and to continue to enable our students to achieve individual excellence and grow as happy, independent and responsible young adults before leaving us fully equipped to embark on exciting and fulfilling futures.”
