Garstang Community Academy’s latest Ofsted report has just been published and the school is delighted with the outcome.
Executive Principal, Phil Birch feels that to be judged as good across the board at a time of increased rigor and nationwide GCSE turbulence is an achievement that everyone associated with the school can be proud of:
“Reading between the lines of the report, it is evident that the four inspectors thoroughly enjoyed their visit to our school community and found the overall standard of our provision to be very good. Of course, it was a busy and pressurised couple of days, but we are delighted that our visitors really understood what our fabulous school, with its inspirational staff and impeccably-behaved students, is all about.
We are now in a really good position, as the inspectors commented in their report , to fulfil our potential as a school and give our young people the flying start to life they all deserve.”
