A space masterclass 'Artemis and Beyond' was lead by the National Space Academy for some of our Year 9 students.
The students looked at the physics of rockets and propulsion, exploring how we are able to reach the moon. They also investigated the survival challenges astronauts face in space, including the effects of pressure on the human body.
Finally to conclude they had a task of creating and firing compressed air rockets capable of reaching distances of 120m!
