A successful collaboration between Garstang Community Academy and the BBC Bitesize careers tour has provided students with invaluable insights into potential career paths.

The tour, which visited the school at the start of term, showcased the BBC's online resources and career opportunities. Garstang students and staff actively participated in follow-up research, providing crucial feedback to the BBC. A team of Year 7 students took on the role of "roving reporters," delivering a comprehensive presentation of their findings.

In addition, a panel of Year 10 students participated in group interview sessions with BBC researchers, giving further important feedback. This partnership not only enriched the students' learning experience but also provided the BBC with valuable data.
