Jasmine’s Gold Medal Success

60m Hurdles Gold Medal Success

On Sunday 7^th February, Year 9 student, Jasmine Jolly competed in the Northern U13/U15 Girls Indoor Championships 2016. The competition was held in Sheffield at the English Institute of Sport.

Jasmine ran and won the 2 first heats with new PBs  –  9.21 sec in the 1st heat and  9.18sec in the semi-final. In the final she ran a new PB – 9.13sec to win the gold medal.

This new PB of 9.13sec has seen Jasmine move up the ranking from 4th to 2nd in the UK.

She is now preparing for the National Indoor championships to be held on 13^th /14^th of Feb.
