Today, our Year 10 and Year 11 Childcare students were delighted to welcome Debbie from Ashbridge Independent School & Nurseries for an engaging Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) session focused on careers in the Early Years sector.

The visit provided students with valuable insights into the rewarding nature of the profession and the diverse apprenticeship pathways available. Key topics covered during the session included:

·         Why Choose an Apprenticeship: The benefits of earning while learning and gaining hands-on experience in a professional nursery setting.

·         The Role of an Early Years Educator: Core aspects of the profession, including child development, safeguarding, and inclusive learning practices.

·         Career Progression: Where an apprenticeship can lead, from higher-level qualifications to leadership and specialised roles within education.

A huge thank you to Debbie from Ashbridge Independent School & Nurseries for delivering such an inspiring session and helping our students explore their future career possibilities!
