A group of Year 7 students got the opportunity to attend Axioms Rising Mathematician Festival last week. This one-day celebration brings together pupils from different schools to experience mathematics beyond the classroom in an inspiring setting. The festival aims to connect children across the Axiom Maths community.
The day featured collaborative problem-solving activities alongside talks from mathematicians and industry professionals, helping students see how their mathematical thinking can be developed and applied in future careers. Our students were a credit to themselves and our school! I am really proud to have the opportunity to work with this fantastic bunch of students!
