Students in year 9 were given a vital head start in planning their post-16 education this week, as Preston College visited the school to deliver an engaging assembly to the entire Year 9 cohort.
The session, which comes just ahead of the school's crucial GCSE options evening, was designed to equip pupils with a clear understanding of the various pathways available after Year 11 and, perhaps more importantly, to tackle common myths and misconceptions surrounding life at college.
