Discovering NHS Careers: Year 9 at Royal Lancaster Infirmary 

Year 9 students were inspired by a recent visit to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), part of GCA's 'Experiences of the Workplace' initiative.

Students toured the Engineering Department, learning about the crucial infrastructure supporting hospital operations. A highlight of the visit was the Maternity Department's interactive session, featuring a simulated baby delivery, which provided a hands-on understanding of the department's work. This experience aimed to broaden students' perspectives on NHS career paths.
