As part of our school careers programme, some of our year 9 students had the opportunity to attend the NHS 350 careers fair. Students had the opportunity to take part in practical activities and speak to specialists about a range of different job roles. Here’s what they had to say about the event:

Eve (9.3) “I was interested in finding out about Occupational Therapy and Children’s Nursing because I would like to look after young children in the future. This trip has taught me a lot of information that I didn’t know before”

Amy (9.1) “I really liked this trip because it was very interesting to see all of the opportunities that there are in the NHS. I would like to pursue a career as a Biomedical Scientist because it's very interesting to understand about and help cure diseases."

Finley (9.3) "I enjoyed this trip because I liked learning about all the different job roles in the NHS. In the future I want to work in healthcare."
