‘Streetwise’ attended school this week to deliver an engaging theatre presentation focussing on the potential consequences of lapses in concentration and risk-taking behaviour around roads.
Issues covered included distractions such as using phones and listening to music, as well as 'messing about' with friends. During the presentation we see Year 7 characters being distracted from safe road use, examining the potential consequences, and highlighting the importance of paying full attention on the roads at all times.
The project was designed to change unsafe behaviours and attitudes.
