A group of 39 pupils accompanied by Ms.Ashworth and her capable team of GCA teachers took a trip to Barcelona, Spain on the 3rd of April 2017, sadly departing at half past 3 in the morning! The group stayed in the Urbany Hostel for 3 nights, visiting some of Barcelona’s most famous landmarks including sites such as The Font Magica and The Sagrada Familia during that time, while also doing more educational activities such as visiting the Barcelona Stock Exchange to accommodate the learning of the Business students.

The students were delighted with 3 prebooked meals at various restaurants around Barcelona including the Fresco restaurant, the Moka restaurant and finally the Nervion restaurant where the students were entertained by the likes of traditional Spanish dancers, some students being trained in the art!

However, of course the group couldn’t all be work and no play, the group did take some time from their busy schedule to visit the Nou Camp, Las Ramblas and the beach to chill on the final day. The wonderful weather made it the ideal time to go to the beach and enjoy some sun while in the famous, cultural Barcelona.
