Mr Farquharson and a group of ten Year 9 History students attended a Holocaust survivor testimony at Hodgson Academy. The students were privileged to hear Arek Hersh describe his pre-war life, his survival and experiences at Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp and his post-war life in the UK.
The students were given the opportunity ask questions and gained a lot from this unique and moving testimony.
