At an investiture ceremony held on Thursday 26th May in Garstang Community Centre, Councillor Alan Cornthwaite was appointment the new Mayor of Garstang.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Wyre, local Garstang, Wyre Borough and County Councillors together with representatives of local organisations and schools.
The Garstang Community Academy 2016/2017 Headboy, James Parker and Headgirl, Grace Cross attended the ceremony and are seen with Councillor Cornthwaite after receiving his chain of office.
