Year 9 student and former Youth Mayor, Oliver Atkinson, received another commendation when he was runner up in the Lancashire Young Citizen Awards.
At the ceremony, at Hutton Police HQ, Oliver was presented with his Highly Commended certificate by Amanda Parker, High Sheriff of Lancashire. In particular he was praised for his community involvement in fundraising for Kepple Lane Park and being instrumental in raising the profile of Garstang Youth Council.
