GCA Post 16 Options Fair Thursday 18th November
We have invited a number of local colleges and training providers into school on the 18th November. Year 10 and 11 pupils will attend the fair during the school day and all year groups will have the opportunity to attend the fair between 3:05 and 4pm. The purpose of the day is to help our pupils develop an insight into the knowledge, skills and qualifications required when moving on from school into post-16 provision. During this event your son/daughter will be encouraged to start to think about what career options and courses are available through an opportunity to speak to a wide array of post-16 course providers from the local area. To maximise the impact of the day, we would encourage you to have a conversation with your child both before and after the event to encourage them to start the process of thinking about life after GCSEs, enabling us both to work together in tailoring effective careers information and guidance to meet the needs of your child’s aspirations.
