We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Rory, one of our talented Year 8 pupils, has been awarded a "Highly Commended" recognition in a recent nationwide competition!

This exciting competition challenged students to think creatively, tasking them with designing an innovative job advert for an NHS role of their choosing. To do this, students first dived into researching the wide array of careers available within the NHS. They then dug deeper, identifying the key responsibilities, necessary qualifications, essential skills, and required experience for their chosen profession. 

Our Year 8 pupils really outdid themselves with their fantastic entries, showing impressive creativity and insight into the vital work the NHS does every day. We were incredibly proud to learn that Rory's outstanding advert, which brilliantly showcased the role of a Paramedic, stood out among hundreds of submissions to earn this national honour.

This achievement isn't just a testament to Rory's hard work and talent, but also his thoughtful engagement with potential career paths within our National Health Service. A huge congratulations to Rory – we're so proud of you!
