Year 8 - are crowned Wyre & Fylde cup champions after a hard-fought victory over St Bede’s.  Garstang took an early lead from a nice finish from Ellis smashing one home.  Ellis’s day was not over as he crept in at the back post to slot in his 2nd of the afternoon.  Heads were high going into the 2nd half as Garstang managed to battle through and claim victory with the game finishing 2-1.  An amazing achievement and an extremely proud moment for everyone involved. A great squad who have set the bar high for next year's football.

Year 9 –  had a very frustrating exit from the quarter final of the Lancashire cup so they wanted to redeem themselves by winning silverware this season in the Wyre & Fylde cup. They played a tough game against a strong LSA team going 1-0 down early on to fight back to win the game 2-1, labelling themselves as Champions! The boys rallied together in the 2nd half with super sub Owen scoring to level the game and a fine bit of skill from Reece cutting inside on his favoured left foot to fire home the winner. Year 9 are champions! A credit to the school and a fantastic achievement for all involved.
