Students from the Academy provided the music as part of the Christmas Lights ‘Switch On’ ceremony on Monday evening.

Traditional carols were sung around the Market Cross before the official light switch on by the Garstang Youth Mayor, Lucas Brown from Year 9, Mayor of Wyre - Cllr Terry Lees, Mayor of Garstang - Cllr Alan Corthwaite and Garstang Town Trust - Norah Hoyles MBE.

The event was very well attended and marks the start of the Christmas celebrations in Garstang!
