The College & Sixth Form Room
GCA has strong links with a large number of local sixth forms and colleges. It’s important to attend open days (these are currently virtual) and events so that you can find out about the courses you are interested in, speak to staff and students, and look around the facilities. See college/sixth form websites or the school careers notice board for dates. Click on the links below to connect to some of the local post 16 providers:

Thank you for your interest in Lancaster Royal Grammar School Sixth Form. As we are unable to invite you into school in person, we have put together a virtual open evening film to help you feel more informed on your decision on where to study next. We appreciate that there is no substitute for seeing the school for yourself, meeting our students and staff and soaking up the atmosphere in the Sixth Form Centre and classrooms but we do hope that by hearing from current students, in their own words, you will be able to benefit from their experience and advice.
Please also read our Sixth Form Prospectus for all the details on how to apply and on the courses available.
Applications should be made online. The deadline to apply is 31 January 2021, however we will still accept late applications, but we may not be able to accommodate your subject choices so please bear that in mind. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Haywood, Sixth Form Administrator on chaywood@lrgs.org.uk or 01524 580529.
We have produced a virtual open evening and it is on our website here also we have our Sixth Form Prospectus
